Students studying chemistry at Grove City College may also prepare for careers in teaching and education by majoring in chemistry secondary education leading to 7-12 certification in chemistry. Students complete courses unique to the chemistry major while fulfilling the required liberal arts and education core.

In addition to the 105 credit hours of major coursework, students participate in real-life teaching situations during field experiences and student teaching.
