The Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry prepares students for professional programs, graduate study and employment in chemical research or professional sectors. Students complete 68 credit hours of coursework, choosing a concentration in biochemistry, physical chemistry or synthetic chemistry. Upper division, elective chemistry courses are selected according to the student’s concentration choice.
