Grove City College isn’t technically a “Bible College,” but TheBestSchools.org ranked it high on its list of the 15 best colleges for studying the Bible.
Grove City ranked sixth in the listing of colleges and universities where Christian thought is incorporated in the classroom. The pool included over 1,200 so-called Bible and Christian schools spread throughout the country and other colleges with religious affiliations.
The College made the list for its Bible-based conservative economics, rooted in the Austrian (free market) school. “Widely regarded for its humanities degrees in economics, law, politics, and culture, GCC retains and frames those strengths inside an authentic Christian environment,” according to TheBestSchools, which described a degree from Grove City College as “prestigious.”
The school-ranking organization also noted the College’s humanities program, which is taught from a biblical-Christian worldview, and faculty who are at the forefront of conservative thought. “This school not only teaches conservative principles, it shapes international conservative policy,” TheBestSchools said.
