Highmark VP to speak on entrepreneurship at Grove City College
Highmark Vice President of Business Innovation and Development Paul Puopolo will offer entrepreneurial insights at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 in Sticht Lecture Hall of the Hall of Arts and Letters on campus. The presentation is part of the 2012-13 Visionary Entrepreneur Speaker Series hosted by The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Grove City College and is free and open to the public.
Puopolo joined Highmark in 2011and is responsible for developing the company’s innovation portfolio. He leads a professional team that develops new products, services and business models for the company’s growth and competitive advantage.
Prior to joining Highmark, he was director of consumer innovation with Humana Inc. Before working in the health care industry, he spent more than 12 years on active duty as a United States naval aviator and recently retired after 22 years of service. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and his master’s degree in national security affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif.
