History

​When the College was chartered, a broad, Christian-based cultural consensus prevailed in America. By charter, the doors of the College were open to qualified students "without regard to religious test or belief."

 

The Collegian

The student newspaper, The Collegian, is owned and published by Grove City College. The paper is published weekly, free of charge, with the purpose of reporting happenings on campus and beyond​.

​Grove City College provides a liberal arts education in the classic sense. Education’s first true purpose, and ours, is to provide a well rounded curriculum that helps students see the broad intellectual landscape of ideas, people and events that have shaped, and continue to shape, our world.
