Grove City College announces a full-time faculty opening in Philosophy beginning in August 2016. Ph.D. in philosophy preferred but strong ABD candidates nearing completion of the dissertation will be considered. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of upper and lower level courses in the Philosophy major, as well as some teaching in the core curriculum. Teaching load is four courses per semester. Areas of study and concentration are open, but willingness to teach in one or more of the following areas is essential: Ancient Philosophy, Medieval Philosophy or Epistemology.
The Grove City College Department of Biblical and Religious Studies and Philosophy is a robust and collegial community of scholars. Candidates must be committed to teaching highly motivated students at a Christian liberal arts institution. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
