Grove City College invites applications for a new faculty position as Director of the Writing Program. The Director will assume a leadership role in creating and staffing a new freshman writing course to complement our Writing Intensive General Education courses. The Director will oversee the Writing Center, help to develop the writing curriculum, and teach courses in his or her discipline. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition or a closely related discipline, experience and passion for teaching writing, and the ability to teach different styles of writing including technical writing and business/professional writing. Experience directing a writing center or program is strongly desired.
