Title: Staff Assistant
Office/Department: Academic Resource Center
Description: Grove City College invites applications for a Staff Assistant. This position will be responsible for assisting the Director of Academic Advising with the management of tutoring services including; recruitment, training, and assessment of student tutors, publicizing tutoring services that are offered, and coordinating with other offices involved with student tutoring. This position will also assist the Disability Services Coordinator with the administration of accommodations. This will include, helping with the intake of student applications for accommodations, processing of requests, and implantation of approved requests. Position will help administer two computer software programs used to manage these two areas.
Requirements: This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of office and advanced computer experience. A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission and vision of Grove City College is essential. Requires the ability to learn departmental and College policies and execute detailed instructions in an organized manner. Must possess strong analytical, decision-making, and communications skills.
