GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Republicans will host Republican candidates David Christian, Sam Rohrer, Marc Scaringi, Tom Smith and Steve Welch at the “U.S. Senate Republican Candidates Forum” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, in Sticht Lecture Hall of the Hall of Arts and Letters on campus. The event is free and open to the public.
At the forum, each candidate will provide a brief opening statement, followed by a series of questions.
“This event is a great opportunity for not only our Pennsylvania students, but also for area residents to hear from candidates hoping to be the Republican candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania this fall,” said Dr. Michael Coulter ’91, professor of political science and Grove City College Republicans advisor. “I’m glad to host the event on campus as it exposes our students, both from Pennsylvania and otherwise, to the electoral process and to a spirited discussion of political issues.”
The Grove City College Republicans are a campus organization dedicated to fostering political skills and leadership abilities among campus Republicans.
