TRANSFER APPLICANTS The College defines a transfer applicant as a student who has attended another college, whether or not he/she is a candidate for advanced standing. This includes:
§ Homeschool applicants who have taken 12 or more credits during any one marking period from a college
§ High school graduates who have take any college courses, even if not full time
§ Any students who have attended institutions without regional accreditation (Bible Colleges, some technical programs)
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
§ $50 application fee
§ Official SAT and/or ACT scores
§ An official high school transcript
§ College transcripts with minimum of 2.0 cumlative grade point average on a 4.0 grading scale
§ 2 letters of recommendation
§ 2 essays (see application for the topics)
§ In addition, serious applicants are strongly encouraged to schedule an on-campus interview even if the student has already interviewed when applying for Freshman admissions. click HERE to learn about campus visit options
The mechanical engineering program is not currently available to transfer students.
FALL TRANSFER Although applications for Fall transfer must be postmarked no later than August 15, we recommend submitting applications in June. Transfer students are accepted pending the availability of a dorm space and an opening in the student's declared major. The College will notify accepted applicants as soon as dorm space becomes available, usually after July 1.
SPRING TRANSFER Although applications for Spring transfer must be postmarked no later than January 4, we recommend submitting earlier in the fall. TRANSFER CREDITS
§ Transfer credits do not enter into the computation of student’s quality point average at Grove City College
§ Transfer credits generally may not exceed fifty percent of the total credits towards graduation
§ A transfer student receives credit for his/her credits if he/she earned a “C” of better in courses completed at a regionally accredited institution.
§ For those transfer students who have attended institutions without regional accreditation, our registrars office will review transcripts for credit on a case by case basis
§ Transfer credit requests to apply toward the 18 hour "Civilization Series" (humanities core) will be reviewed on an individual basis by the Registrar.

FINANCIAL AID Financial aid is available for those transfer students who show financial need and have a transfer GPA of at least 3.0. Applications for assistance must be in the Financial Aid Office no later that August 15th and for Fall transfer and December 15th for Spring transfer. Earlier submission is recommended if possible. Each year thereafter Financial Aid Applications are due in accordance with the Financial Aid brochure.
