TOURING CHOIR TO PERFORM IN FOUR STATES THIS SEASON |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Touring Choir will kick off its travels through four states with an 8 p.m. performance on March 5 with the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus at Warner Theater in Erie, Pa. At 2:30 p.m. on May 1, the 2011 schedule concludes with a performance at Harbison Chapel on campus.
Traveling through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois throughout April, the Touring Choir will celebrate the season with a series of concerts at local area churches. Stops include:
• April 3, 9:15 and 11 a.m. services, Memorial Park Presbyterian Church, 8800 Peebles Rd., Allison Park, Pa. 15101. • April 16, 6:30 p.m. concert, Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 89 Canyon Rd., Carrollton, Ohio 44615. • April 17, 10:45 a.m. service, Huntsburg Baptist Church, 16401 Mayfield Rd., Huntsburg, Ohio 44046. • April 17, 7:30 p.m. concert, Second Presbyterian Church, 42 East Church St., Newark, Ohio 43058. • April 18, 7:30 p.m. concert, Waterford Mennonite Church, 65975 State Rd. 15, Goshen, Ind. 46526. • April 21, 7 p.m. concert, First Presbyterian Church, 805 Western Ave., Joliet, Ill. 60435. • April 22, 7 p.m. concert, Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd., Kettering, Ohio 45429. • April 23, 7 p.m. concert, Cornerstone Bible Fellowship, 36300 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039. • April 24, 10:30 a.m. service (prelude music at 10:10 a.m.), St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 468 Bradley Rd., Bay Village, Ohio 44140. • April 24, 7:30 p.m. concert, First Presbyterian Church, 100 East Wheeling St., Washington, Pa. 15301.
The May 1 home concert is free and open to the public. No tickets are required. The Touring Choir is under the direction of Professor of Music Dr. Douglas Browne.
