THINK TANK HOSTS DEBATE WITH LOCAL POLITICAL EXPERTS |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College will host a presidential debate between two local political experts at 7 p.m. Oct. 29 in Sticht Lecture Hall of the Hall of Arts and Letters on campus.
Dr. Michael Coulter, professor of political science at Grove City College, who will represent the positions of Sen. John McCain, will face off against Dr. Itzi Meztli, professor of English at Slippery Rock University, who will represent the positions of Sen. Barack Obama.
Coulter, a 1991 graduate of the College, joined the faculty in 1995. An adviser for the Grove City College Republicans, he is a member of the Grove City Borough Council and regularly provides radio and TV commentary on political issues.
Meztli is a team leader of the Northwest Butler County Supporters of Barack Obama and faculty adviser of the Students for Barack Obama, a student organization at Slippery Rock University. He is also a co-founder of the Slippery Rock Area Democrats.
