GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Office of Student Life and Learning has welcomed three new full-time staff members to begin the 2006-07 academic year.
Two staffers will work with students in the new Colonial Hall Apartments on lower campus and one replaces a longtime nurse who died suddenly this spring.
John Coyne will serve as director of apartment life. A 2004 graduate of Grove City, Coyne has a bachelor’s degree in Christian thought and a master’s degree in higher education from Geneva College. Before moving into his new role at Colonial, he served as the resident director in Hopeman Hall for two years. Coyne is also the adviser of the men’s club volleyball team and resides on the third floor/men’s wing of Colonial.
Devayani “Devi” Wintrode has joined the staff as director of student ministries and housing coordinator. In her last post, she served as a resident director for two residence halls at Ashland University in Ohio. She earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and psychology from nearby Westminster College and her master’s degree in college student personnel at Bowling Green State University. Wintrode will also work with Dean of the Chapel Dr. Stanley Keehlwetter on student ministry programs. She resides on the third floor/women’s wing of Colonial.
Amy Pagano recently began her new role as director of Zerbe Health and Wellness Center and head nurse. She replaces former director Karen Danielson, who died suddenly May 10. Pagano comes to the College from UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, Pa., where she worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room since 1995. Experienced in the managerial and clinical realms of healthcare, Pagano earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Kent State University and her master’s degree in nursing from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Bill, have a daughter, Celia, who is a sophomore in high school.
