Pennsylvania State Grants

Although Grove City College does not participate in federal financial aid programs, many state grant and scholarship programs can be used to assist students of the College. Students should check with their high school guidance office or the State Higher Education Assistance Agency or the Board of Regents in their state concerning state aid that may be available. Any state grants that are funded with federal funds are not accepted at Grove City College.

PHEAA State Grant

The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency’s need-based grant is the College’s largest outside source of need-based financial aid for our students.

The FAFSA must be completed to apply for the PHEAA State Grant by May 1st. For complete information and instructions for completing the FAFSA go to www.pheaa.org.

PHEAA New Economy Technology Scholarship (NETS)

This scholarship makes financial aid available if you are an undergraduate studying in approved science or technology fields. Grove City College students can apply for the Technology scholarship by going to www.pheaa.org.

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and the Grove City College Federal School Code

Students who wish to be considered for state grant assistance are advised to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The College does not receive the results of this application, which is sent by the United States Department of Education directly to the appropriate State Grant Office of the applicant’s state of residency.  The application link is http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.  State grants application deadlines vary by state.

Any questions regarding the information provided may be directed toward the Grove City College Financial Aid Office at 724-458-3300 or financialaid@gcc.edu.
