SENNHOLZ TO OPEN LUDWIG VON MISES CONFERENCE |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Living Legacy of Ludwig von Mises Conference is set for this weekend, Feb. 23-24, at Grove City College. The conference is free and open to the public.
Dr. Hans Sennholz, former longtime professor of economics at Grove City, will open the conference Friday evening with a presentation on “Memories of Mises.” His presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in Sticht Lecture Hall of the Hall of Arts and Letters. Sennholz earned his Ph.D. in economics under Mises at New York University.
Saturday’s lectures begin at 9 a.m. and continue throughout the day. Speakers include the top scholars in the Misesian tradition in economics, philosophy and history. The closing lecture will be delivered by Llewellyn Rockwell, founder and president of the Ludwig von Mises Institute.

Saturday: 9 a.m. “What Austrian Economics Can Teach Historians,” presented by Thomas Woods, senior fellow, Ludwig von Mises Institute. 10 a.m. “Money, Method, and Prediction: The Case of the Great Depression,” by Mark Thornton, senior fellow, Ludwig von Mises Institute 11 a.m. “Theory, History, and Austrian Economics,” presented by Thomas DiLorenzo, professor of economics, Loyola College 1 p.m. “The Mundane Economics of the Austrian School” presented by Peter Klein, associate professor of economics, University of Missouri 2 p.m. “Entrepreneurship, Knowledge and Appraisement in the Market Process,” presented by Joseph Salerno, professor of economics, Pace University 3 p.m. “Mises on Monetary Reform: The Private Alternative,” Guido Hülsmann, professor of economics, University of Angers 4 p.m. “Mises on Marx,” presented by David Gordon, senior fellow, Ludwig von Mises Institute 7 p.m. “The Misesian Movement” presented by Llewellyn Rockwell, president, Ludwig von Mises Institute
