Dear Class of 2008,
Only two months remain until we will be walking on the Quad for Grove City College’s 128th Commencement!
To commemorate our graduation and give back to the College that gave us so much, the Class of 2008 will be raising funds to place gifts on campus that will remain for years to come.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 for our collective gift to the College—
a higher mark than any class to date!
In memory of our classmate Sarah Schenk, the first Class of 2008 Gift will be a renovation of the two fountains that are on MAP South Dormitory patio. Sarah was a loving friend, exceptional student, and beautiful woman of God.
The second Class of 2008 Gift will be equipping the Wolverine Lounge in Grove City’s Hall of Arts and Letters to be a student art gallery. This will be a place on campus where students’ art can be prominently displayed on a rotating basis, and will also continue to add to Grove City College’s tradition of aesthetic beauty on campus.
The third and final
Class of 2008 Gift will contribute to the college is a variety of leisure sport options, including
bocce courts, horseshoe, bean-bag toss, upgrading the bowling alley, etc.
Any remaining funds we will contribute to the memorial scholarship established for Sarah by her parents.
All seniors have an opportunity to support this collective class gift, and we are working hard to get every senior to participate. It is possible to make contributions through cash, checks or by credit card. Check this website for updates on our progress.
