Engineering - Prospective students will hear an overview presentation from our faculty about our majors in mechanical and electrical/computer engineering. The presentation will discuss how our program of study prepares students for leadership roles in the engineering profession and covers subjects of mathematics, science fundamentals, and engineering science and design. Student-led demonstrations will be available for viewing and interaction.
Science - Prospective students will be given the opportunity to select between the majors of biology (molecular biology, pre-medicine), chemistry (biochemistry), physics, and exercise science. Faculty will give overviews concerning these disciplines, and current students will present lab demonstrations. The Sciences at Grove City College provide a quality education from a distinctly Christian perspective that prepares men and women for the 21st century.
Math - Prospective students will hear presentations from faculty that will highlight the math field. Mathematics, the language of science, is the necessary ingredient for preparing to live in a dynamic, technological age.
Computer - Prospective students will hear presentations from faculty that will highlight the computer field. Computer Science is an increasingly important field of study and Grove City's faculty endeavors to make its graduates in this exciting discipline conversant in all areas of knowledge, which is equipment, hardware, and software.
Exercise Science - Prospective students will hear an overview presentation from our faculty about our major in Exercise Science. The presentation will discuss how our program of study prepares students for leadership roles in the fields of Health and Fitness, Coaching, Nutrition Strength and Conditioning, Physical Therapy, Exercise Physiology and Personal Training. Students will also be introduced to several national organizations, such as the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Athletic Training Associations. Student-led demonstrations will be available for viewing and interaction.
