The Albert A. Hopeman, Jr., School of Science, Engineering and Mathematics was dedicated in 1997 in honor of Albert A. Hopeman, Jr., who served for 44 years on the Grove City College Board of Trustees and as President of the Board from 1972 until his death in 1998. Mr. Hopeman left a deep imprint on the history and the future of Grove City College and is remembered for his loving attention to the College and its mission. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the College in 1961.
The Albert A. Hopeman, Jr. School of Science, Engineering and Mathematics is comprised of the Departments of Biology; Chemistry; Computer Science; Engineering; Mathematics; and Physics.
