Transcript Request Policy

Online Transcript Orders

Grove City College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide online ordering of transcripts.  The website will guide you through the ordering process, including delivery options and special mailing fees. A processing fee will be charged per recipient. Users will receive automatic e-mail updates and may also log in and view the status of their request(s).  A major credit card is required for ordering transcripts online.

Former students who do not have access to the myGCC portal must authenticate themselves to the NSC.  You will be instructed to print and sign a “Consent to Release Information Form,” and e-mail, fax, or mail the form back to the Clearinghouse before your order will be completed.  To begin ordering your transcript(s), please go to Grove City College Transcript Orders at NSC

Former or current students who have access to the myGCC portal do not need to authenticate themselves to the NSC since your identity is known through the secure access of the myGCC portal.   To order your transcript, log in to myGCC, click on the Academics tab and locate the Student Self-Service Portal. 

Online Order Fees

  • $3.00 per transcript plus a $2.25 service fee per recipient. 

  • Payment is made with a major credit card. Your credit card will not be charged until the Clearinghouse is notified by the Registrar's Office that the transcript(s) has been mailed.

  • Transcripts are sent via first class mail unless otherwise specified.

Mail or In Person Transcript Orders

You may also request a transcript from the Registrar’s Office by completing a Transcript Request form in person at the Registrar’s Office, or by sending a request in writing.  To send a request through the mail, please download and mail the GCC Transcript Request Form

Mail or In Person Fees

  • $3.00 per transcript plus a $2.25 service fee per recipient.  

  • Checks are payable to Grove City College.  Credit cards are not accepted for direct transcript request orders.

  • Transcripts are sent via first class mail unless otherwise specified.

Transcript Fee Examples

  • 1 transcript to 1 recipient:  3.00+2.25 =$5.25
  • 2 transcripts to 1 recipient: (3.00*2) + 2.25=$8.25
  • 2 transcripts to 2 recipients: (3.00*2) + (2.25*2)=$10.50


Additional Mailing Fees

  • Fax: No extra charge.  Please note that faxed transcripts are considered unofficial.

  • Express/United States: $20.00 per recipient - Designated as next day delivery. The postal service does not guarantee next day delivery. Orders must be placed by noon to insure same day service.

  • Federal Express/United States: $25.00 per recipient – Designated as next day delivery.  Fed/Ex guarantees next day delivery or the destination charge is refunded. Orders must be placed by noon to insure same day service.

  • Federal Express/International: $35.00 per recipient – Typically 1-3 business days.  No guarantees on arrival.

  • First Class Mail/International: No extra charge.  No guarantees on arrival.

Note: All transcript orders are normally processed within forty-eight hours.  Priority handling is given to online orders.  Any indebtedness to the College must be paid before a transcript can be issued, except with special permission from the Financial Services or Financial Aid Office.
