GROVE CITY, Pa. – The fifth annual Ronald Reagan Lecture of The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College will feature bestselling author, commentator and radio talk show host Dr. Bill Bennett at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.
The Ronald Reagan Lecture, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the president’s birth, will include an onstage discussion between Bennett and Dr. Paul Kengor, executive director of the Center, professor of political science and Reagan biographer. The lecture is free and open to the public.
As a presidential appointee, Bennett served President Reagan as chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities and Secretary of Education. Bennett later returned to the White House as President George H. W. Bush’s national “drug czar.”
The Center inaugurated the first annual Ronald Reagan Lecture featuring author and radio talk show personality, Michael Reagan, in 2007. Each year, the event has provided eyewitness testimonials to the leadership style and guiding principles of President Reagan.
