GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College will host J. Nelson Jennings, Ph.D., professor of World Missions at Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, Mo., Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.
Jennings’ lecture, “A Missional Theology of Civility,” is sponsored by The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College: Character and Formation Working Group. The organization is co-chaired by Dr. Paul Kemeny, professor of religion and humanities, and Dr. Steven Jones, associate professor of sociology.
President of Presbyterian Mission International and a missionary to Japan, Jennings has earned degrees from Vanderbilt University, Covenant Theological Seminary and the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Jennings is an expert on administrative leadership for mission focused organizations and publications and is currently researching U.S. Christians’ view of Islam.
