PARKING AND TRAFFIC PATTERNS FOR HOMECOMING |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Homecoming parade route and related events will necessitate closure of the campus roadway to all vehicle traffic and parking from: Pine Street entrance to MEP corner; MEP Corner to the north turning circle; and the Crawford Hall stop sign to the south turning circle.

3:30 p.m. The campus roadway will be staffed and verbal notice of closure will be given to vehicle operators. 5 p.m. Ketler Roadway and Memorial parking lots are reserved for special events and guests with special needs. Memorial lot is open for staff parking until 5 p.m. Employees scheduled to work after this time should park at the PLC employee lot, softball field parking lot or the Liberty Street parking lot. 5:30 p.m. The campus roadway, as well as the PLC Commuter and Crawford parking lots will close to all vehicle traffic and/or parking. Additional notes All vehicles must be removed from the roadway and parking areas along the parade route no later than Friday, 9:30 p.m. If necessary, vehicles that have not moved from these areas may be towed at the owner’s expense.

9 a.m. The parade starting point will be on the North side of the PLC on Campus Drive. Floats, vehicles and all parade entries should come to the corner of Madison Ave. and Pine Street to enter the parade line up area. There will be no vehicle access to the line-up areas until after the parade is complete.
Road closures include: • Madison Ave. from Lincoln Ave. to Main Street. • Campus Drive off of Madison Avenue and the PLC Commuter Parking Lot. • Pine Street Entrance.
Immediately following the parade North drive will re-open for parking. The campus roadway from MEP corner to the North Turning Circle and from Crawford Corner to the South Turning Circle will remain closed to vehicle traffic and will be utilized for handicap and other special needs parking on a case by case basis. Saturday evening Roadway will re-open for vehicle traffic. Additional notes Special event and special needs access to the Ketler Roadway and Memorial lot will be available throughout the day.
