PARADE TRAVELS THROUGH CAMPUS, OLDE TOWN |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College’s 2009 Homecoming Parade route will wind through campus before traveling into the heart of Olde Town Grove City. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. Oct. 3.
The route starts on the lane between the Hall of Arts and Letters and Hicks Residence Hall, before turning right onto Campus Drive and exiting campus onto Pine Street and west toward Broad Street. The parade will turn left at the intersection of Pine and Broad streets and end at the intersection of Broad and Main streets.
The theme is “Building Lasting Memories: Brick by Brick” and the parade features the Wolverine Marching Band, Grove City High School band and several other high school marching bands. Community members are welcome to enjoy the Homecoming parade downtown and through the campus. Interested parties are also invited to the formal dedication of the recently renovated Carnegie Alumni Center on lower campus immediately following the parade.
