INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Recent internships done by students in the Political Science program include working at “Meet the Press,” the Washington Times, the United States Supreme Court, and with various federal departments and agencies and members of Congress. Students can hold internships during the fall or spring semesters or during the summer.

CAREER AND GRADUATE SCHOOL PLACEMENT

Students graduating with a degree in political science have numerous career opportunities available to them. Many political science graduates attend top law schools. Some graduates have pursued graduate programs in political science, public administration, and public policy. Our graduates have worked in government, political organizations, the media, and education, and they have enjoyed success in all of these fields.
