INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Many of our students, after their sophomore and junior years, participate in summer internships at a broad spectrum of universities and industrial research laboratories. For example, our students have recently worked at Harvard, Johns  Hopkins, University of Southern California, Purdue and Texas A&M.We have recently placed students in laboratories of the oil, chemical, pharmaceutical, and paint industries.

CAREER AND GRADUATE SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

Many of our majors pursue graduate programs in chemistry or biochemistry at leading universities. We have recently placed students at Cornell, Harvard, Emory, Vanderbilt, Penn State, Johns Hopkins, Purdue, Texas A&M, and Case Western Reserve, to name a few. A number of our biochemistry majors apply successfully to medical and other health-related schools. In addition, for students who desire to be employed after college there are numerous opportunities in the chemical pharmaceutical industry or genetic engineering companies.
