CAREER AND GRADUATE SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

The accounting program has an excellent placement rate [over 90%] in recent history.  The “Big 4” international accounting firms, along with many regional accounting firms and companies of all sizes, actively recruit GCC students for both full-time positions as well as summer internships.

Students work closely with the Career Services Office and the accounting faculty during this process.  For those students interested in graduate programs to satisfy the 150-hour CPA licensing requirement or otherwise continue their education in a business-related field, our graduates are consistently admitted to top-tier M.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. programs throughout the country.  These schools include the University of Arizona, Case Western Reserve University, Duke University, the University of North Carolina, Penn State University, the University of Pittsburgh, Ohio State University, Indiana University and many others.
