ONE BOOK ONE GROVE CITY TO KICKOFF SECOND YEAR |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – One Book, One Grove City, an organization created in 2011 and dedicated to building community through a shared literary experience, will host its second annual kickoff event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Grove City College Carnegie Alumni Center on campus. The event will feature a short presentation on the group’s featured text, “The Great Gatsby,” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, refreshments and community fellowship.
Attendees are encouraged to bring empty, rinsed soup cans as admission to the event. The cans will be used for the organization’s American Girl Movie/Craft Day event on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 12:30 p.m., in the Grove City Community Library. All girls in grades 1-5 are invited to watch “Kit: An American Girl,” make tin can pencil holders and enjoy a snack. Registration is required by Thursday, Jan. 19.
One Book, One Grove City, sponsored by Grove City College, is partners with the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, Grove City Education Center, Grove City Community Library, Olde Town Grove City and the United Way.
