GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Fall 2007 Tau Alphi Pi One-Act Festival will feature five student-directed plays Sept. 27-29. Performances will be in the Little Theater of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus and will take place at 7:30 p.m. each night with a 2:30 p.m. matinee Sept. 29.
The festival’s plays are: “Ferris Wheel” by Mary Miller and directed by senior Taylor Bissonette of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; “Miss You” by David Auburn and directed by junior Kara Ley of Wellsboro, Pa.; “Intermission” by Will Eno and directed by junior Pierce Babirak of Scarborough, Maine; “Half an Hour” by J.M. Barrie and directed by senior Elanor Snyder of Bethel Park, Pa., and sophomore LeeAnn Yeckley of Cranesville, Pa.; and “The Way of All Fish” by Elaine May and directed by senior Jesse Aukeman of Byron Center, Mich., and junior Katherine Kirk of Pittsburgh, Pa.
The TAP theater honorary is advised by English professor Dr. Janice Brown. The One-Acts are coordinated by Aukeman, who is assisted by junior Luke Whipple of Freedom, Pa.
Free tickets for the performances are available in the Student Union on campus or can be reserved by calling (724) 458-3331. Seating is limited, and audience members are encouraged to arrive early. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
