President Dick Jewell ’67 joined hundreds of Alumni to attend Disney’s blockbuster Broadway musical The Lion King in its triumphal return to the Pittsburgh’s Benedum Center. Grovers and Future Grovers alike enjoyed this spectacular show with all its puppetry, costuming, and well-loved score in a familiar tale about love, loss, and destiny. After the performance, alumni had a back stage pass to an after-show reception in one of the Benedum’s spacious rehearsal areas where they partook of scrumptious hors d’oeuvres. Also representing the college, Jeffrey Prokovich ’89, VP for Institutional Advancement, Melissa (Trifaro) MacLeod ’96, Senior Director of Alumni & College Relations, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, Charlene Shaw ’83, and Rebecca Miller ’04, Communications Associate attended.
