Dr J. Ligon Duncan III, president of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals and senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Miss., visited Grove City College on Feb. 17 to speak on "The History of the Church" as part of the Evangelical Scholarship Conference.

Now in its second year, the conference is sponsored by the Student Government Association and the College’s religion department. The goal is to celebrate the Reformation and the Gospel. The conference theme this year is the life and work of John Calvin.
