-Good Loving Brothers-
I would like to welcome you to the new link dedicated to Greek Life on Grove City College’s website. In addition, I would like to extend my thanks to the Alumni Relations staff for organizing and creating this site.
As many of you know, Kappa Alpha Phi has grown over the past few years, and in an effort to sustain this growth, the actives along with a group of alumni have collaborated to start an alumni association. This is a new era for the fraternity and we would like every alumnus available to be involved. We are still in the working group process; however, we have many great ideas and are open to any input you can offer on how to engage alumni better. We hope to have a KAP website up and running in the near future that will enhance our attempt to reach alumni and provide you with quick, easy access to fraternity news.
The fraternity is slowly growing. Four new members joined this past spring, bringing our total membership to fourteen. As we have always stated, we look to take quality over quantity. We strongly believe that reconnecting with alumni will significantly help us build the best fraternity possible, remaining true to the proud legacy we have inherited. In our attempts to reconnect with the past, we are working to learn more about our history and traditions through alumni interaction, which is why the fraternity would personally like to invite you to visit us during homecoming.
We will provide you with an opportunity to see old friends and make new ones. Join us at the KAP tent on the quad for brotherly banter, barbeque and beverages from Noon to 4 p.m. on October 3. We would love to meet as many alumni as possible, so please make an effort to stop by. Any further news about homecoming weekend will be posted on the website.
Additionally, we would appreciate any letters/emails/visits which could further our search in defining and understanding our traditions. We are always interested in personal anecdotes or stories about your fraternity experience. In our fall newsletter, we will better inform everybody on the progress of our new alumni organization and website.
Best Wishes,
Kappa Alpha Phi President
