LECTURES HONOR 200TH ANNIVERSARY OF LINCOLN'S BIRTH |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, Grove City College will host a lecture series beginning at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 in Sticht Lecture Hall of the Hall of Arts and Letters.
The speakers include:
• Dr. Michael Coulter ’91, professor of political science, speaking on “Lincoln and the Declaration of Independence” • Dr. Gillis Harp, professor of history, on “Conservatives Getting Right with Lincoln” • College President Dr. Richard Jewell ’67, addressing “The Hunted and the Haunted” • Dr. Gary Smith ’72, professor and chairman of the history department, speaking on “The Faith of Lincoln”
The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Politics and Faith Working Group of The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College and the Phi Alpha Theta history honorary. No tickets are required.
