LEADING HEALTHCARE INNOVATOR TO SPEAK AT COLLEGE |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Ron Templeton, a leading healthcare expert, will address the impact of changes in healthcare on entrepreneurism, the free market and personal choice at 7 p.m. Feb. 8 in Sticht Lecture Hall of the Hall of Arts and Letters on the Grove City College campus. The presentation is part of the 2010-11 Visionary Entrepreneurship Speaker Series hosted by The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and is free and open to the public.
Templeton, CEO of Templeton 360, LLC, will speak on “Healthcare Entrepreneurship in the ObamaCare Era.” Currently heavily involved in the healthcare reform debate, he is working with a portfolio of early stage healthcare companies.
For more than 25 years, Templeton has launched, financed or managed healthcare technology companies, such as SunRX; Student Resources; I-Trax, CapMed; Electronic Healthcare Solutions; Dataflow, Inc.; and Contel Business Systems. Many of these innovative ventures were acquired by the nation’s most prominent healthcare companies, including UnitedHealthcare, Walgreen, Fidelity National Information Services and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Templeton is renowned for bringing novel healthcare technologies and solutions to the market, turning around struggling enterprises, positioning companies for acquisition and generated significant investor returns.
Templeton is a member of the Grove City College Entrepreneurship Advisory Council. He and his wife, Sharon, and two children reside in Hockessin, Del. His son, Ron Jr., is currently a junior at Grove City College.
