Grove City College seeks to prepare students for the global realities of life in the modern world. As described below, international  themes pervade the "Civilization Series," and specialized international courses are among those options students are required to choose to meet their general education requirements. In addition, there are many opportunities for students to gain exposure to the international community, including language studies, study-abroad programs, and international internship experiences.

To provide an international emphasis which is pervasive and universal rather than concentrated and confined, internationalization is featured across the curriculum. A wide-ranging emphasis on international issues is spread throughout the catalog. See especially the particular courses offered by the departments of Modern Languages, Business, Economics, History and Political Science.
