GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College invites the community to join the campus in celebrating the 2009 Homecoming Oct. 2-4. The weekend features traditions such as the Homecoming Parade, crowning of the 2009 Homecoming King and Queen and the Jack Kennedy Memorial Alumni Achievement Awards ceremony.
A number of events are open to the public, including:
Wednesday, Sept. 30 8 p.m. ~ Homecoming Praise and Worship Service with Kirk Voller ’92 – Crawford Auditorium
Thursday, Oct. 1 8 p.m. ~ Pep rally with the Wolverine Marching Band, cheerleaders and football team – Carnegie Alumni Center
Saturday, Oct. 3 All day ~ WSAJ live broadcast – Ketler Residence Hall Patio 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. ~ Bookstore open – Breen Student Union 9:30-9:45 a.m. ~ President Richard G. Jewell ’67 Homecoming welcome – Breen Student Union 9 a.m. ~ Women’s alumni lacrosse game – IM fields 9:30 a.m. ~ Women’s water polo alumni game – Physical Learning Center competition pool 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ~ Campus Tours – meet at Crawford Hall 10 a.m.-6 p.m. ~ Crimson Connection store offering 15 percent off of merchandise – 231 S.
