GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College invites the community to join the campus in celebrating the 2010 Homecoming Oct. 8-10. The weekend features traditions such as the Homecoming Parade, crowning of the 2010 Homecoming King and Queen and the Jack Kennedy Memorial Alumni Achievement Awards ceremony (see related release).
A number of events are open to the public, including:
Thursday, Oct. 7
8:30 p.m. Pep rally with the Wolverine marching band, cheerleaders and football team – IM Fields
Friday, Oct. 8
3 p.m. Campus tour – Meet at Crawford Hall
4 p.m. Men’s varsity soccer game vs. Geneva College – Varsity Field
5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Jack Kennedy Memorial Alumni Achievement Awards Reception/Dinner – Carnegie Alumni Center
Saturday, Oct. 9
8 a.m. Life Advocates 5K
8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. WSAJ broadcast live – Ketler Patio
9 a.m. Women’s water polo – Competition Pool
9 a.m. Constitutional Entrepreneurship: Business lessons from the founders with Professor Craig Columbus – Hall of Arts and Letters
9 a.m. A discussion with Professor Paul Kengor on his latest work for The Center for Vision & Values – Hall of Arts and Letters
9 – 10 a.m. and Noon – 5 p.m. Shuttle service – Signs posted in parking area and event locations
