GROVE CITY, Pa. –With a full weekend of events coming up, Homecoming 2006 is an excellent time for the surrounding community to visit the Grove City College campus. A number of events are open to the public, including:
Thursday, Oct. 12
8 p.m. ~ Homecoming Praise and Worship Service with Jon Passavant ’01 – Crawford Auditorium
Friday, Oct. 13
8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. ~ Seminar with Robert Slee, president of Robertson & Foley, “Midas Touch: Building Wealth with Private Enterprise” – Recital Hall, Pew Fine Arts Center. Contact Sherry Collins at entrepreneurship@gcc.edu or (724) 458-2003 to register. (Lunch will be provided)

10 a.m. ~ Women’s alumni tennis match – tennis courts
10 a.m. ~ Women’s alumni water polo game – competition pool
10 a.m. ~ Women’s alumni soccer game – upper field
10:15 a.m. ~ Men’s Alumni Soccer Hall of Fame introductions/alumni game (10:30 a.m.) – varsity field
11 a.m. ~ Women’s alumni volleyball game – WolvArena
11 a.m. ~ Men’s alumni water polo game – competition pool
11 a.m. ~ Homecoming Parade – “Get Back to Where You Once Belonged” – Pine Street and through campus
Immediately after Parade ~ Lunch, cost is $8.50 for adults and $4.40 for children – MAP Café, West Hall
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. ~ Colonial Hall Apartments dedication/open house – lower campus (Open house will follow dedication; apartments will remain open until 1:30 p.m.)
Noon-4 p.m. ~ Children’s Play Area, Hospitality Tent and more – main quad
Noon-5 p.m. ~ Greek Village – main quad
1:15 p.m. ~ Float awards/pre-game show – Thorn Field
2 p.m. ~ Grove City College vs. Thiel football game – Thorn Field
Half-Time ~ Wolverine Marching Band performance and crowning of 2006 Homecoming Queen and King – Thorn Field
3 p.m. ~ Men’s alumni rugby game – IM Fields
