How does the tuition cost of Grove City College compare to the other schools you looked at?
When I was looking into colleges, I knew that I wanted to attend a Christian university. After I compared a handful of schools, I found Grove City College’s tuition is half as much as the other schools I was looking at.
How is faith incorporated in the classroom?
Faith is incorporated into almost everything on campus. I love how we are able to discuss Christianity in the classroom, especially how it pertains to social work. We discuss how humans are created in the image of God and how that gives them inherit value.
How would you describe the level of academics you have experienced at Grove City College?
Grove City College definitely holds its students to a high standard when it comes to academics. I have been challenged in the classroom and in the field to continual learning. The course material is challenging but interesting and rewarding.
What is the nature of the relationship between students and professors?
As a student at Grove City College, you have a very cool opportunity to get to know professors on a deeper level. Class sizes are small and offer the ability for students to really get to know their professors. The professors also genuinely want to get to know you professionally and as a person.
What advice would you give to an incoming student?
I would tell them to get active in campus life. Academics are extremely important, but the friends you make and the activities you participate in are the memories that will last a lifetime. They will give you experiences that are far richer than just going to class.
Describe your experiences with campus activities.
As a student who lives on campus, I am a part of several campus clubs and ministries. Outing Club, the outdoors club on campus, is where I have found some of my best friends. I also have had a lot of leadership experience while being an officer for the club during the past two years, which will help me in my future career.
