How big of a role did the affordability of Grove City College play in your college decision making process?
It was only one of several factors I considered, but it was definitely a plus. It was reassuring to know that my student loan debt would be manageable.

How was your faith strengthened and perhaps even challenged during your time here?
I grew up going to a very traditional church that only sang hymns with organ accompaniment. It was a new and powerful experience to be with hundreds of young men and women singing out and worshipping with more contemporary music and instruments. To this day, I still play drums and bass guitar on my church’s worship team.

How would you describe the level of academics you experienced during your time at Grove City College?
The academics at Grove City College were at a high level and challenging. Many of the students there were very intelligent and near the top of their high school classes.

What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?
The professors were knowledgeable and kind. It was easy to get help and questions answered, especially in my major, due to the small class sizes and the fact that the professors made themselves available in their offices during non-class time. I still have contact with some of my professors to this day, and one of them even came to my wedding.

How did you hear about Grove City College?
My older sister went to Grove City College and there were other students in my high school that were considering going there.

What are some of the things you do during your free time either on or off campus?
I was part of the Student Musicians Organization, and I spent much of my free time rehearsing for two festivals we had that showcased campus bands. I also enjoyed racquetball, bowling and just hanging out with my friends.
