B.S. in Marketing Management

Overall, how would you describe the spiritual environment at Grove City College?
It is a great place to build upon or create a foundation of faith for the rest of your life. There are professors and staff that truly care about the spiritual well being of the students and have a lot to offer as students are working hard to discover their own gifts and callings.

What drew you to choose marketing management as your major?
I started as an accounting major. When I took an intro to marketing course I found the content extremely interesting and with the help of the Office of Career Services I decided to change my major. It was a much better fit for me.

What are some of the ways that professors ensure that students not only receive information but truly learn and understand how to apply that information?
Through various projects and case studies. They also challenge students with current events in various publications in order to help them understand how different content applies to the real world.

What advice would you give to an incoming student?
Be prepared to work hard but also be ready to enjoy all that the College has to offer academically, spiritually, and relationally.

And can you describe some of your own personal experiences in these campus activities?
I loved playing all kinds of intramural sports including soccer, football, softball, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, and racquetball. As a member of a fraternity I thoroughly enjoyed the bond that was formed with all of my brothers.
