How big of a role did the affordability of Grove City College play in your college decision making process?
This was among the top reasons for choosing Grove City College, that also included finding a school that espoused a Christian worldview, conservative principles, and strong STEM programs.

Overall, how would you describe the spiritual environment at Grove City College?
Many colleges and university were founded by Christian educators. Today, many of these have only distant ties to these roots and continue to distance themselves from an authentic Christian worldview. Grove City College is among the few institutions that still protects, encourages, and espouses a truly Christian worldview.

How would you describe the level of academics you experienced during your time at Grove City College?
My academic experience was extremely challenging. This became evident in my first year in graduate school when I scored at the top of my class in most courses. Many graduate student peers complained of the difficult tests, I always remarked with a smile that these exams were easy compared to those I had at Grove City College.

What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?
All of my professors were engaged and wanted to see their students succeed. I was surprised to find how close these relationships could become. I still maintain contact with many of my professors and continue to receive career advice from them over 10 years after graduating.

What advice would you give to an incoming student?
I would make sure that you take advantage of all the opportunities offered to you by the College, whether this is career counseling, internships, missions trips, or Bible studies. Also, now is the time to dream big and take risks. Don’t hold back and enjoy the opportunities in front of you. Also, take advantage of the unique Christian environment that enables you to grow your faith.

How would you describe the relationship that the students have with each other on campus?
The body is diverse and offers a multitude of opportunities to find peers that have similar interests. Many students become lifelong friends. I have lost touch with all of my high school classmates. However, I still am in contact with my friends from Grove City College.
