By this time you have probably heard an awful lot about how the college decision is the biggest decision you’ve made thus far in your life. While this may be true, I don’t think that anxiety is the best response to such a weighty decision. This – the college search – is a time for celebration in your life! As you find a home for your upcoming undergraduate years, celebrate the calling of God which you are discovering in your life. That calling is a unique, irreplaceable component of your identity: seek a school where your calling will be embraced and enriched. Whether or not that school turns out to be Grove City College, we are delighted and honored to assist you throughout this process.

More than anything, remember that there isn’t a wrong choice. The Lord is faithful to provide, and He shall bring you to the perfect institution for you. Take heart and approach the college search with confidence. He that goes before you has an inescapable love and a perfect plan for you!

About Me
Born and bred in Minnesota, spent a few years in Asheville, N.C., went to high school in Charlotte, N.C., and, after coming to Grove City in 2011, I never really left. During my time at Grove City College, I learned that God’s plans were greater than my own – greater in every way imaginable. I learned the beauties of organic chemistry, of philosophy, of literature, of vector calculus - but most importantly, I learned a love of neighbor and a care for creation.

Hometown

St. Paul, Minn.

Favorite Scripture
But Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, or to turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go; and where you live, I will live; your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. Where you die, I will die, and there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me.” - Ruth 1:16-17

Favorite College Memory
When Dr. Douglas Browne retired in the spring of 2014, after conducting the Touring Choir for 33 years, almost 300 alumni of the Touring Choir came back to campus to sing one last concert together under his direction. Singing alongside those hundreds of alumni was the most beautiful musical experience I’ll likely ever have – much less the most cherished memory I have of my time at Grove City College.

Favorite Activity around Town

Walking or running through town and out on country roads – especially with a friend!

Hobbies

Literature, poetry, music (piano/choral), tennis, distance running, and the occasional nap.
