“We win, they lose”: four simple words that summed up Ronald Reagan’s strategy for the Cold War. On Feb. 5, Herb Meyer, the man credited as the first senior U.S. government official to forecast the Soviet Union’s collapse, shared just what those words meant at the third annual Ronald Reagan Lecture. The event was sponsored by The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College.

The Ronald Reagan Lecture is held each year around Feb. 6, the anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s birth. The lecture series aims to bring to light Reagan’s contributions to America and the world. Each year, the Center hosts an individual who worked for, knew or has produced important work on the 40th President.
