GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College senior music students will perform a joint recital at 2:30 p.m. March 29. The performance is in the Recital Hall of Pew Fine Arts Center on campus and is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
Beth Lincoln of Sussex, N.J., will perform piano and flute selections from Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig von Beethoven, Robert Schumann, Aram Khachaturian, Gabriel Faure and Friedrich Kuhlau. A daughter of Robert and Maribeth Lincoln, she is a student of Dr. Beverly Carter and David Tessmer. A music major, she will be accompanied by Brianna Dillon.
Jessica VanDervort, a daughter of Cole and Regina VanDervort of Frederick, Md., will perform soprano, piano and flute selections from Antonin Dvorák, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Frederic Handel, Franz Liszt, Giacomo Puccini, Leo Delibes, Hugo Wolf and Johannes Brahms. She is a student of Judith Hughes, Tessmer and Carter. She is a music education major and will be accompanied by Sarah Parris and Dillon; Emily Bzdafka will also participate.
