GROVE CITY COLLEGE SENIORS TO PRESENT MUSIC RECITALS |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Several Grove City College students majoring in music will present their senior recitals in the coming weeks. All recitals will be in the Recital Hall of the Pew Fine Arts Center on the Grove City College campus.
Laura Prior of Londonderry, N.H., and Julie O’Roark of Frederick, Md., will present a joint recital at 7 p.m. Nov. 2. Prior, a daughter of Dana and Susan Prior, will perform mezzo-soprano vocal selections from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, George Frideric Handel, Hugo Wolf, Johannes Brahms, Jules Massanet and Aaron Copland. A student of Judy Hughes, she is accompanied by senior Alex Frazier of Jewett, Ohio.
O’Roark, a daughter of Donna and Ernest O’Roark, will perform flute selections from Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig von Beethoven, Francis Poulenc and Edgard Varèse. She is a student of David Tessmer and is accompanied by junior Mark Dickinson of Lansdale, Pa.
Alison Hulihan of Sugar Grove, Pa., and William Keller of Midland, Va., will present a joint recital at 2 p.m. Nov. 10. Hulihan, a daughter of Donald and Sandra Hulihan, will perform trumpet selections from Jean Neruda, Arcangelo Corelli, Eric Ewazen and Alexander Arutunian. She is a student of Drew Fennell and is accompanied by senior Joseph Severyn of Dayton, Ohio.
Keller, a son of Eric and Teresa Keller, will perform trumpet and string bass selections from Antonio Vivaldi, Serge Koussevitzky, Domenico Dragonetti, Neruda, Corelli, Ewazen, Arutunian and Bach. A student of Fennell and Michael McGee, he is accompanied by Severyn and senior Daniel Peterson of Elmer, N.J.
All College recitals are free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
