GRADUATE PUBLISHES BOOK ON BEAUTY |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College alumna Elizabeth (Prismon ’10) Elmers recently authored, “Beauty Unframed,” published by BorderStone Press LLC. The text is a collection of analytical essays on commonplace beauty. The book encourages readers to perceive the world with appreciative eyes and to discover that everything is a source of wonder.
Elmers created a portion of the text in an independent study course in the arts with Dr. Joshua Drake, associate professor of music and humanities, while a student at the College and signed her publishing contract during her senior year. Drake authored of the book’s introduction.
“This wonderful volume invites us, chapter by chapter, to notice what is worthy of our notice,” said Dr. T. David Gordon, professor of biblical and religious studies.
Dr. Paul Munson, professor of music, also reviewed the text as “the antidote to spiritual depression.”
