Frequently Asked Questions about Full Circle, the Annual Fund for Grove City College:
Doesn’t Grove City College have a huge endowment? Why do they need me?
Contrary to what many believe, Grove City College does not have a large endowment from which it draws to offset day-to-day expenses. The College also does not accept federal or state funding, yet it remains one of the nation’s premier values in quality higher education. In light of our uniquely independent financial structure, support from alumni and friends is vital.
How many people give to Full Circle?
The Development Office is pleased to announce that during the 2008-09 fiscal year, more than 5,700+ alumni made gifts to the College supporting Full Circle. This represents one of our biggest participation level in College history. Another 900 friends, employees and parents also supported Grove City College with their gifts.
How much is raised each year for Full Circle?
Gifts to Full Circle totaled $1.78 million last year, while overall gifts to the College reached $12.96 million. For those who have supported us in reaching these benchmarks, thank you for your continued support.
Is my gift tax deductible?
