FALL ORCHESTRA CONCERT OFFERS MUSICAL VARIETY |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Orchestra will present its fall concert at 8 p.m. Oct. 26 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on the Grove City College campus. Under the direction of Dr. Richard Konzen, professor of music and college organist, the orchestra will perform selections such as Glinka’s “Russlan and Ludmilla Overture,” Schubert’s “Symphony No. 8 Unfinished” and “March Militaire,” Bach’s “Fugue in g Minor,” Villa-Lobos’ “Bachianas Brasileiras” and Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Capriccio Espagnole.”
Senior Nicholas Smith of Freeport, Pa., will conduct the Schubert march and senior Krista Schmidt of Woodbine, Md., will conduct the Bach work.
The concert is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
