FALL ONE ACTS TAKE GROVE CITY COLLEGE STAGE |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Fall 2010 Grove City College Tau Alpha Pi One-Act Festival showcases five plays Sept. 30-Oct. 2. Performances of the student-directed productions will be at 7:30 p.m. each night in the Pew Fine Arts Center’s Little Theater on campus. A 2 p.m. matinee will also be offered Oct. 2.
The plays are: “Tarantino Variation” by Seth Kramer, directed by junior Lauren Krimmel of Dillsburg, Pa., and sophomore Josiah Cavanaugh of Indianapolis, Ind.; “Scuba Lessons” by Joseph Zeccola, directed by senior Rebecca Sherman of Avon Lake, Ohio; “He Said and She Said” by Alice Gerstenberg, directed by junior Rachel Perry of Gibsonia, Pa., and sophomore Jacob Roberts of Bronx, N.Y.; “Theatrical Digs” by Jean McConnell, directed by junior Elizabeth Moore of Mount Vernon, Wash., and senior Peter Jantsch of Beaver Falls, Pa.; and “Wanda’s Visit” by Christopher Durang, directed by senior Megan Markley of Skaneateles, N.Y., and sophomore Kelsey Kobil of Butler, Pa.
The TAP theater honorary is advised by English professor Dr. Janice Brown. The One-Act Festival is coordinated by Jantsch and junior Tyler Crumrine.
Free tickets for the performances are available in the Breen Student Union on campus or can be reserved by e-mailing theatertickets@gcc.edu or calling (724) 458-3331. Be sure to leave name, date of performance and number of tickets needed. Seating is limited, and audience members are encouraged to arrive early. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
