FALL ONE ACT FESTIVAL TAKES GROVE CITY COLLEGE STAGE |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Fall 2011 Grove City College Tau Alpha Pi One-Act Festival showcases five plays Sept. 28-Oct. 1. Performances of the student-directed productions will be at 7:30 p.m. each night in the Pew Fine Arts Center’s Little Theater on campus.
The plays are: “Loretta Lynn and the Miner Prophets, or The Writing on the Wall” by junior Sam Leuenberger, starring seniors Katie Gorzalski and Rachel Yeager, juniors Stephen Horst and Josiah Cavanaugh, and sophomores Julia Haines and Laura Doherty; “The Marriage Proposal” by Chekhov; “Sure Thing” by David Ives; “Miss You” by David Auburn and “Nobody Sleeps” by Guernsey Le Pelley.
The TAP theater honorary is advised by English professor Dr. Janice Brown. The One-Act Festival is coordinated by junior Laura Sabatini and senior Tyler Crumrine.
Free tickets for the performances are available in the Breen Student Union on campus or can be reserved by e-mailing theatertickets@gcc.edu or calling (724) 458-3331. Be sure to leave name, date of performance and number of tickets needed. Seating is limited, and audience members are encouraged to arrive early. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
